April

Hello!! Never has a month flown by so quickly and its safe to say there’s been a lot of rain… But also so many flowers!! <3 I’m going to keep this months update brief but I hope everyone has had a really lovely bank holiday so far. Mine was full of family time and got away with me so apologies for the slight delay <3

It’s been a month full of weddings, a lovely workshop, freelancing, painting, pressing, attempted flower growing and enjoying some of the first British flowers of the season.

I found some old artworks from when I was little all about flowers and I thought i’d share some words by William Wordsworth that I had written here..

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

I just think it’s the cutest little poem and one that really stuck with me <3

I’ve added just a few photo snippets below too…

Studio update!

The inside is complete and painted - just some small details left and then we can begin filling it and decorating! It’s definitely been a mission - and it’s been difficult for sure fitting around all my work but we are getting there and so so grateful to have a creative space just down the garden path. Can’t wait to fill it with colour!

Thank you so much for reading and see you next time

Each month I am picking a colour and that will be highlighted in the footer below. This month I was feeling coral red
